What You Will Do
Prime Controls is seeking Engineering students with a strong work ethic for our summer internship program. Our internship is designed to allow the student to experience industrial automation and controls industry up close. The experience gained allows the student to see if a career in automation is right for them. Prime Controls actively supports the development of future Professional Engineers; our internship program is the first step.
What You Will Bring
The Basic
Perform all duties to promote a safe work environment and safe job performance.
Assist Field Engineers with basic calculations to determine compliance with engineering best practices.
Actively participate in all plant safety programs as directed by management.
Participate in projects and optimization efforts as a training exercise
Participate and assist in troubleshooting electrical problems and identify solutions to reduce downtime and minimize maintenance costs.
Performs routine technical work which does not require previous experience
Collects data and gathers information or documents
Performs standard computations or analysis
Prepares drawing and visual aids
Other duties as assigned
