What You Will Do
As the Corporate ES&H entry level Safety Associate, you will be responsible for upholding our award-winning safety protocols across the corporate office. Your primary location will be the corporate office, with travel required as necessary. You will report to the Corporate ES&H Leadership Team.
A Typical Day at Prime Controls
The primary role will be to assist ES&H in the corporate production-warehouse facility with early morning flex and stretch, daily audits, employee training / orientation.
Adhere to and maintain existing training plans established by ES&H Leadership, departments, and projects.
Apply OSHA principles and stay current with regulations.
What You Will Bring
Certifications: One of the following (but not limited to):
A two accredited degree in an ES&H-related field
Additional certifications such as, 500, 502, 501, CHSO, SSH, SHEP, and OSHA 30 in construction may be considered
Experience: one to three years of experience in industrial automation, electrical, and safety construction, with consistent work experience in a similar role.
Language Skills: Preferred bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (but not required).
Technical Skills: Experience with e-learning platforms and competent computer skills in Microsoft Office applications.
Organizational Skills: Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with clear and concise communication.
Background Check: Ability to pass a seven-year background check.
Personal Attributes: Exhibit integrity, flexibility, initiative, and adherence to company policies and programs.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to effectively work within all levels or divisions on-site, in meetings, and within Prime Controls.
Travel: Willingness to travel as scheduled or required to field offices and remote locations, typically for up to two days at a time, depending on the event.
Work Schedule: Typical work week is 40 hours, Monday through Friday excluding travel.
