Overview

What You Will Do 


Own Procedure & Documentation Development

  • Draft, revise, and publish SOPs, work instructions, templates, and QA documentation.
  • Work directly with subject matter experts across engineering, field operations, and project teams to capture real-world practices.

  • Maintain document control and keep everything audit-ready.

Drive Quality Standards Across Prime Controls

  • Perform internal departmental audits and support vendor audits.

  • Identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities in processes.

  • Recommend practical solutions that increase consistency, safety, and efficiency

Support Training & Implementation

  • Build user-friendly training guides and materials for employees at all levels.

  • Help teams adopt new procedures and reinforce quality practices.

Ensure Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor changes in industry standards so our documentation stays accurate and compliant.

  • Keep our document library organized, accessible, and up to date.

Collaborate Across the Organization

  • Work with engineering, construction, safety, L&D, payroll, operations, and project managers.

  • Present findings and updates to the Corporate Quality Manager and senior leaders.


What You Bring

  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

  • Experience in QA, auditing, compliance, or process improvement.

  • Ability to map workflows, spot gaps, and recommend improvements.

  • Clear communication across technical and non-technical groups.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

  • Adaptable in a fast-moving environment.

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience with document control systems or QA software

  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements

  • Background in engineering, construction, or field operations

Work Environment & Physical Demands (Text Only)

Work Environment: 
The QA Specialist and Procedure Writer role requires occasional travel to Prime Controls job sites and facilities. Office tasks may involve extended periods of sitting, computer usage, and document review. Reasonable accommodation can be made for individuals with disabilities.
